CARRY OUT A BIRD SURVEY

Carrying out a bird survey is a great way to get a proper understanding of what birds visit your school. It's also a brilliant way to improve your students' identification skills of the most common birds.

At the end of the survey you'll have a feast of information that can be easily turned into graphs and charts by your students to hang on your school notice boards and help your biodiversity planning.

We have designed a special School Bird Survey worksheet for Irish schools and is available in our resources shop here.

You can also purchase a complete School Bird Survey Kit including bird feeders here.
