Inspiring Children,
Protecting Nature

Ireland's biodiversity youth training organisation

Welcome

You are very welcome to the 'Biodiversity in Schools' website. We are the leading biodiversity education organisation in Ireland specifically for young people. The aim of our project is to teach young people all across Ireland about biodiversity and get them actively involved in nature conservation. Our big idea is to bring schools across Ireland together as a patchwork of mini nature reserves!

You will find everything you need to boost biodiversity at your school on this website.
As with everything we do we aim to keep things simple and fun - with a hefty dollop of science!

Learn about what you can do in our School Projects section, find classroom and garden resources in our Teaching Resources section and learn more about biodiversity in our basic Biodiversity Facts section. We are also available to visit your school to help, so check out our Book a Workshop section to see the range of options. We can help Design Your School Garden or you could choose from one of our School Garden Kits; from outdoor classrooms to sensory gardens. Make sure to sign up to our Newsletter and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram for more help and ideas!
